Brian has led a 25-year career in business development across the capital markets ecosystem. After receiving his BA from Furman University, he started his career in the Financial Services division of Dun & Bradstreet. He then was a Managing Director of Business Development/Private Equity services for consultancy DeWolff, Boberg & Associates (DB&A).
After DB&A, he was a Partner and head of Business Development and Private Equity Coverage at McColl Partners (subsequently acquired by Deloitte Corporate Finance). At McColl, he formed the firm's direct sourcing model to private business owners, assisting over 50 companies seek their best alternatives in the capital markets. After McColl, he was a Managing Director leading origination efforts for leading Private Equity firms NY-based Sentinel Capital Partners and San Francisco, CA-based TPG Growth.
Most recently, he was a shareholder and Director for New Zealand-based advisory firm, EverEdge Global, a global investment banking firm. He also has completed Executive Education programs at Harvard Law School and Duke's Fuqua School of Business in Negotiation and Advanced Financial Analysis, respectively.
Personally, Brian lives in Charlotte, NC and enjoys running, playing tennis and golf. He spends as much time as possible with his parents and two adult sons, all of whom live locally. He is a passionate Duke basketball fan and a huge Carolina Panthers football fan.
